I have had the pleasure of knowing many cats. Most of them have consistently enjoyed a pair of interlinked zipties.

Advantages

• Jingle it to lure them out (they WILL know the noise and love it)
• Cheap for you to manufacture at home
• They don’t seem to get bored of it
• You can customize them to your cat
• They look funny while flailing it around
• Mostly safe (I have yet to witness an injury)

Disadvantages

• They remember it at 3 a.m. and start playing with it, making noise.
